G2 1st Exam Scope, Fall 2024

Exams will be held on:

 

Listening Exam – Wednesday, October, 23rd, 2024

Oral Exam – Monday, October 21st, 2024

Written Exam –Tuesday, 29th, October 2024

 

The exams may cover the following: 

 

LISTENING EXAM:

Communication book vocabulary Weeks 2-8

 

ORAL EXAM:   

Part A will ask students to make English sentences to talk about the differences between two pictures. Part B will ask students to read excerpts from ‘Cars by Bob’ and ‘Raise the Flag’. Students will be scored on accuracy, fluency and pronunciation.

 

Phonics:

Students may be asked to identify and pronounce:

R-controlled vowel ar

       Plural -es

                 Trigraph -dge

                 Vowel digraphs -ai-, -ay- -ou -ow

WRITTEN EXAM: 

Vocabulary Comprehension:  Vocabulary words from weeks 2-8
