Monday October 19th

I have decided to modify how I set the homework to give some choice to students/families with their schedule. Instead of setting rigorous tasks for each night, I will be setting the whole week's homework on Monday, and students can then manage their time during the week to complete it when convenient.

The only homework that I encourage to do each night will be the story reading, as regular practice is the best way to build these skills. :-)

Thursday October 15th

We have continued with adjectives, phonics and vocabulary in class. 

Tomorrow there are still several large exams so we have taken care of our homework sheet in class today.

Students may take the time to prepare as needed for tomorrow.

Today we had a busy day with four periods of English. We introduced new phonics with ie, igh, kn and wr. We looked at our week 5 vocabulary words. We previewed our new story. We also had an English science lesson with simple biology of animals.
