Grade 2 Spring Final Exam Scope

 

G2, 3^rd Exam Scope, Spring 2024

 

Dear parents,

 

Exams will be held on:

 

l  Listening Exam – Wednesday, June 12, 2024

l  Oral Exam – Thursday June 13, 2024

l  Written Exam –Tuesday, June 18, 2024

 

The exams may cover the following: 

 

LISTENING EXAM:

·         Communication book Vocabulary words (week 13-17)

·         Verbs with Singular and Plural Nouns

 

 

ORAL EXAM:   Students will read an unseen text which uses phonics and vocabulary learned this unit.  They will be evaluated on accuracy, fluency and pronunciation. Students will then be asked a series of comprehension questions and should answer in complete sentences.

 

 

WRITTEN EXAM: 

Vocabulary Comprehension:  Vocabulary words from weeks 13-17)

 

Story comprehension (understanding of the story):

·         Dear Juno

·         Anansi Goes Fishing

 

Phonics:

Students may be asked to identify:

• Vowel Patterns o, oa, ow
• Compound words
