G2 Midterm Exam Scope, Fall 2026

 

Dear parents,

 

Exams will be held on:

 

Listening Exam – Tuesday, October, 27^th, 2026

Oral Exam – Friday October 30^th, 2026

Written Exam –Thursday, 5^th, November 2026

 

The exams may cover the following: 

 

LISTENING EXAM:

Communication book vocabulary Weeks 1-6

Phonics:

·         ar

·         es

·         er/est

·         ow/ou

·         ai/ay

 

ORAL EXAM:   

The first section will require students to describe differences between two pictures. The second section will require students to read two short passages from Cars by Bob and Raise the Flag. Students will be marked on accuracy, pronunciation and fluency.

 

WRITTEN EXAM: 

Vocabulary Comprehension:  Vocabulary words from weeks 1-6

 

Story comprehension:

Before the Railroad Came
